Homemade Beef Burgers

Ingredients
Patties
- •600g beef mince
- •1 egg
- •2 tbsp breadcrumbs
- •1 tsp garlic powder
- •1 tsp onion powder
- •Salt and pepper
Toppings
- •4 brioche burger buns (dairy-free)
- •Lettuce leaves
- •2 tomatoes, sliced
- •1 red onion, sliced
- •Pickles
- •Dairy-free mayo or mustard
- •Tomato sauce
Sides
- •2 large sweet potatoes
- •2 tbsp olive oil
- •Salt and paprika
Method

Mix beef mince with egg, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper.

Form into 4 patties, slightly larger than the bun as they shrink when cooked.

Cut sweet potatoes into wedges. Toss with olive oil, salt and paprika. Roast at 200°C for 30 minutes.

Cook patties in a hot pan or on a BBQ grill, 4–5 minutes per side until cooked through.

Toast buns lightly.

Build burgers with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, and your choice of sauces.

Serve with sweet potato wedges.
